At Islamorada Investment Management, we do things a little differently. We believe that patience is the key to wealth; that gambling has no place in a long-term wealth management plan; and that buying shares in a company means taking an ownership position, not just trading pieces of paper.

That difference has resulted in steady growth for our investors for the last 10 years, all at much lower fees than the average mutual fund. If you're interested in fast money, fast trades, and getting an adrenaline rush every time you check your portfolio, Islamorada is not for you. But if you're looking to grow your wealth intelligently for the long-term, fill out the contact form to download our portfolio report and see the Islamorada difference for yourself.

Learn About Our Portfolios

What investment level are you considering?

Over the last twenty years, Warren Buffett has popularized the idea of value investing, and that's one of the principles that we've built our firm around. We are fundamental value investors. Our domestic portfolios are managed in the tradition of Warren Buffett, and our international funds follow the principles first laid out by Sir John Templeton. In both cases, we invest in companies that are currently undervalued but show strong potential for long-term growth. To sum things up, instead of chasing short returns, we're focused on the long haul.

At IIM, we do things differently and we think it's important that are investors share the same mindset that we do.

Our ideal investors:

  • Have a minimum of $50,000 to invest
  • Value an open dialogue with their portfolio manager
  • Want to understand the companies they invest in
  • Are focused on long-term returns and have a long runway to retirement

At Islamorada Investment Management, we specialize in a proprietary type of portfolio called a Spoke Fund®. A spoke fund is a group of separate investor accounts linked to a portfolio containing most of the liquid net worth of that fund's manager.

To put that into perspective, we invest our own family's money into our managed portfolios. We do this because we believe in the companies that we invest in. We also believe that the best way to make sure that we're making the right decisions for our investors is to be right there in it with them.

While the concept isn't new, the recent antics of Wall Street stress the need for a new way of investing that holds portfolio managers accountable to their investors.
